The Great Bear Foundation is offering small-group field trips to Hudson Bay this August, October, and November.
Our summer trip coincides with peak beluga whale calving season. Highlights will include a boat-based whale watching tour, looking for polar bears, abundant bird life, foxes, beach combing, exploring the berry and wildflower covered tundra, and maybe even some northern lights.
Or, join us this fall for peak polar bear season!
Family friendly, small group environment. Trips includes accommodations, meals, daily wildlife-viewing, and educational programming.
Catastrophic spring flooding has suspended train service to Churchill for the remainder of 2017. Participants can fly to Churchill from Winnipeg. Flights may also be added from Thompson, Manitoba.
Please join us in supporting the Churchill community during the rail disruption! Supporting the local economy helps to support polar bears.
