Hmm, thanx for the URL, but I cannot open PDFs I think, I would preffer something like HTML or something that can be oppened with Word. Also, I would like to know if ASM is any good for writing operating systems. > Yes "WE" Harold and Jure can work on a lot of > things. > > Jure let's take the time to inventory > you software library. > > Points of intrest: > > 1) Dynamic IP address software. > > 2) E-mail, in PowerBasicCC 2.0. I got advice from a relative that your should send your money to my account trough Bank of Austria. I guess they're cheaper, but I did not quite understand how is that done. > Your last questions to me was reguarding Copyrights. > Was my answer OK, or what? Your answer was ok. I have saved the e-mail and will make use of it when I write the lesser public lincese for my ICI APIs. > What do we have left of the Neil, efforts, > and what is going on, etc. ??? > > You realy have things to talk about. > Don't get all depressed about the Neil > thing, he just riped 20+ years of my > thinking and "FREE IDEAS". That stuff is still going well. Currently working on an appropriate web page, earning experience I will also need later. Neil is currently looking for a real job to ensure a backup in case the ICI stuff turns out not to produce any money (my suggestion BTW). So I'm at the steering wheel of ICI. Talking about experience and all, I just recently had a discussion with some manager of another company about the way to make good code. My ideas were: - Do not avoid specific commands just to be able to say "I have good bugfree code, look no command!" - Create backuping code for each procedure, to minimize damage by a possible bug in that procedure, even when there are 'no' bugs - Make the working programs (EXEs) try to resolve bugs automaticaly, without crashing first - Make the programs able to make extensive log files on demand Making my points clear with the above points, the manager called me young and inexperienced, ending his remark with "You're lucky I'm not your manager." It is not clear to me where the fault is (other than the point that it's not an indoctrinated method of programming), so I wonder: Can you tell me? > If your > into ASM I'll have lots of work for > you paid for by "ME", not some yet to > be formed group and etc. Your offer is interesting. Indeed something I will have to agree to at some point, however with my current school and everything my time schedule isn't exactly perfect. Is a strange time schedule acceptable to you? Also note that I yet have to learn ASM, I am currently at a succesfull DOS-box "currsor hide" COM file. > Harold > ;O). Thanx.
