Hello Group, Once about a time this was discussed and I have no idea if anyone actualy made one. Some of you were talking about a reduced PC and I immagine that would be $$$. I wonder what would be wrong with, for example, an EMU8000 with some memory and a module loader circut? For those that do not know, EMU8000 is a MIDI sound processor present on every AWE32 sound card, that with a neat little program called AMP (made specificaly for it) can play modules perfectly well (quite as well as ModPlug or XMPlay, just without using much CPU /runs fine on an 80 MHz 486 without compromising playback quality, tested it/ and with a top limit of 30 simultaneous channels). The sound card appears to require on-board memory to play, mine has the built-in 512 kb and plays most Elwood tracks and all MOD files perfectly well, tho it has room for 2 more 1 MB memory add-ons which I don't know where to buy. It's a good idea atho I somewhat doubt that Creative would do anything about it if we told them about it.
