Excuse me, this EMU8000 I got on my soundcard cost as much as the MP3 player with a fair computer on it and is, for one thing, not nearly as expensive as any MP3 player, even when we're talking about add-on varieties. The EMU8000 plays modules fairly well and the loader can remain mostly software of a PC trough which you put tracks on the player. You fail to proove why this would be any more expensive than the total of it's components (which according to my calculations in the local currency total to be about 10% to max. 30% of an MP3 player)...
