Hello, I have been thinking much about this, but due to the fact that I've been thinking about it on my own I probably made many wrong conclusions. I've been wondering what exactly is the relation between autistic characteristics and the cases when kids were adopted by animals. The articles about the cases themselves indicate a direct relation. I am thinking that there may be a certian general numbness in NTs that is not present in Autistics and animals. We know (and I know for myself) that autistics can get times of increases sensitivity to certian senses. I personally, while I found some summer mosquito bites particularly traumatizing durring such times, that I could sometimes actually tell appart a male and female dog by their scent, which was sort of interesting. I concluded that there must be other things such as this one. I get along with animals great, with dogs it's like we're thinking the same thing and sometimes I can only feel relaxed around them. In my view, this relation between autistics and animals is rather direct, where NTs just don't understand this... thing that animals use to communicate. They are numb to it (and they call autistics numb...). What is your oppinion?
