As you can see, I already begun the core works on my plan of distributed

processing. The functions you see, DataScan, Neocortex and now

Point2Point are all applications that can be used on a remote-controll

basis.



My primary plan is accumulating a large amount of such independed

multimedia applications and process agents using the Console

(functions), which all will eventualy come to the point where it will

become usefull for me to make them use eachother to do whatever they do.

These would then be sorted into service packs and sold as optional

components of the main ICI package. This makes it a relatively high

priority, as there is basicaly no distinction between making updates for

the Console and making and updating functions.



Please keep in mind that everything is ready for you to begin work on

any functions you wish to add. The Console immediately makes the way for

any local function to interact with any remote function and you know

what it takes for any computer program to become a function. I am

working on the interface language docs as we speak.



In case this would be in your point of interest, the functions I intend

making include: AI decision making programs (like Neocortex), multimedia

display applications (like Point2Point), data managment agents (like

DataScan), virtrual environment support (data-manipulating programs will

translate the cyberspace into space) and network-play computer games

(includes 'games' which are virtrual environments with members powered

by users or AI decision makers; you might remember things like this from

popular science-fiction, "Nuclear war" is one such movie example, when a

game is no longer a game).





And atho it is completely possible for anyone to contribute any function

to ICI, I don't intend waiting for others to do things that I can.
