That is my quick assessment. Yes, after having failed to install the just-downloaded version, I have been trying to see (since the old version is still installed and the ICI server up again), if the old version could connect. Obviously it didn't work. > I also noticed that the AIMetaSearch search code is looping and > it looks like I need to get in and fix that up a bit. Yes, after having found the search engine is back online, I have attempted to use it. So did you manage to retrieve the e-mails I have sent to your DSLExtreme, AIMetaSearch and AccessWest accounts? I suppose I should use the InfoWest e-mail address at the moment or is any other more preffered? > I am currently competing with my cousin, who owns this location > and is on vacation here, for the work space, and this will go on for > another week. Then I will resume my 'scrutiny' of the system next week, for now I am continuing to work on an interesting board-game that I am implenting to work under ICI. ICI not only makes the programming easier (because I can use one EXE for one aspect of the game, not having to mess with managing multiple relatively unrelated goals in one EXE), but also allows the objects existing in the game to be real databanks (in effect improoving the flexibility of the virtrual world) and for example, the multiplayer being such that you can play diffirent games, then simply merge them into one at a later time or split them appart again. I have found parallels between this game and the movie called The Matrix, in case you have heard of it.
