Hello Neil, I have determined the problem with my friend is the firewall, perhaps it would be good to try, when you have the time, to let the user costumize the port used to connect to the server and other nodes. You could solve the server-side problem with the a port-entering field in a Web interface. Second idea is about downloading. I was looking at the other filesharing P2P software. Almost all of them have the feature to download one file from multiple sources. I was thinking something simmilar could be implented for the ICSA, that a program provides more sources and only one destination and the ICSA then decides what packets to take from which source. Otherwise, I guess I can tell you I have been working and will be working more on a file search engine for ICI, that will make it usable much like the other P2P filesharing programs. Have you been told Internet will always be threatened by worms viruses etc? We don't think so: http://208.186.111.189/ici/index.htm MesonAI -- If nobody else wants to do it, why shouldn't we?(TM)
