You mean the us, right? That's USA, "US" or "us" is a politicial phrase indicating that the countries are one entity, you know like in the sense of "the two of us". Americans can use "US", we use "USA" (which isn't as clear either, BTW, ever thought of the United States of Afganistan? ;) Anyway, the computer system is made of my function manager, which makes all the functions (registered programs) act as one and a communcations manager which then makes the many function managers act as one, which then makes it very neat to debug, because it's simply HUGE: 1 communcations server + 2 user computers so far = 3 computers; about 6 additional functions on each user computer + the 2 communications managers + the 2 function managers + the communications server's program + other = over 17 programs in total. > That reminds me, I had some fun when knew their 'president' knew about those planes crashing against towers. =P In the building next to the two towers is the central USA-to-Europe Internet junction, when the two towers went down, the junction lost power and we were kind of cut off the DNS servers for a while. Luckily now we Europeans have the fastest network in the world and are setting up some DNS servers of our own. > >All information you see here derived from the first line. Well in correct English animals and computer programs kind of don't get to be called "he" or "she"; the thing here is that if I would want to make it correctly I should have reffered to myself as "it" since I'm an animal. =P Rather call it all in "he/she"s then, the only things I practicaly tend to reffer to with "it" is unknown stuff. > If you let the computer create new patterns, it'll randomly create a > personality... or that's what I think. First you need an environment and everything. This will take me a while before it can be accomplished, but to me, you know, every entity already has a personality, atho often defined solely by instinct. > Hadn't mentioned before I sometimes have slept on the floor because I felt I > *had* to... This one is like it was taken directly from a joke I read in a newspaper a little while ago: --- Begin quote --- X commes to a psychiatrist: Doc: So what's your problem? X: I think I'm a dog. Doc: Ok, lay on the coutch please. X: Oh, but I must not! My owner strictly forbid' me from doing that! ---- End quote ---- It's one of those jokes not exactly as funny for everybody, but I think this particular case made it such. ;] Anyway, I know the thing about sleeping on the floor, atho I don't have that chance. I therefore remove the pillow from my bed and it feels about the same. Feeling like sleeping on the forrest floor is a whole diffirent thing again. > >Reminds me of the hardware-to-ICI bridge program I was just working > >on... ;P > > Cool. I was thinking that really, a simple microphone can let you get a 3-D > sound image, you just need to separate sounds into intervals and monitore > that... a directional mike would do the trick, really. =P The thing is: How do you find one sound in a delayed echo, where it is modulated by the non-echo sound? Anyway, I think a spectrum analizer connected to that pattern recotnigion circut I made should do the trick. > Out for a walk. C'ya! Good idea! I hope you get to enjoy yours. I think there is an experience with a dog I didn't tell you about yet. It's about the friendly dog closest to where I live, in my oppinion we're pretty good friends. Anyway, when I was returning from my walk, I as always, walked past him but he was sleeping. I bothered not to disturb him, but he could smell me and the smell woke him up eventualy. I was off behind the corner when the dog woke up, finding that I'm nowhere near, **howled out loud**! And it wasn't a barkhowl at all, it was a true, loud howl... I don't think I've ever heard any dog howl in this neighbourhood before I stared making contact with them. =] So sad tho I can't answer their calls in these stupid cities, =S answering a howl would really turn these dogs back to what they're supposed to be; you know, they need to be with their own kind. =P > Have you got any questions or comments?
