Hello all, I am trying to make a program that accepts commands from a text file, then once it has them, delete the file and wait for a while (about 2 seconds) then check if there is anything new in the file to do. My problems: 1. If I set a normal loop and no waiting code, the program will take 100% of the CPU and lock down keyboard, mouse and all non-real-time running processes (I intend to use the program under Windows). What command do I need to preform to avoid this? 2. When I innitialy open a file I get what I think is error code 5 (access denied). Why? Also, when I try to read from the file (I use the DOS 3+ INT 21h to access the harddrive), the program reads from the console instead (CON, keyboard). This is because the file failed to open, right?
