I've had a sorta mirror experience to that. A few years ago, I would want to make new friends wolf style and found this one roleplayer who did not bother to realize there may actually be people who have an [b]actual[/b] wolf side and that not all of them may be humans roleplaying, so he neglected to mention he wasn't a therian at all. Needless to say the moment I set my guard off permanently, and wanted to make my approximation of packmates with him, I was accused of vile intentions and disposed of.  :(
