Uhh... so is this thread dead then? :P What you suggest is sort of sure to be awkward to a lot of weres because I think at least, there are a share of us who don't feel like things are particulary definitive.... we've been told one thing by the environment, and felt another from within, so we turned to the one within and here, while there are certian ways of expression in communities such as the one on the Werelist, it is still up to ourselves to figure out what is part of our therianthropy and what is not. So it is always a mix of personal beliefs and feelings and impressions, etc. I too sometimes find it annoying how some weres tend to involve too much popular spirituality or urban mythology into their therianthropy. I suppose the best approach to this is to let it be, the normal ways of communication tend to do their magic, if somebody has an odd idea on something, he won't be given much encuragment on it from the others, etc and then the his/her desire to (not) conform will serve to push towards what is most likely to be reality. There is no general rule and there should be none, when in one extreeme this place starts swarming with delusional ideas and in the other, everybody durns up very arrogant and rude. ...And then there is also this: A Fallacy Recognition Handbook  Cheer up, let's get talking.
