(i use switchy in chrome for that, for certain urls) [11:47:20] ssh username@server.somedomain.suffix -p portnumber -D 6666 will give u a socks 5 proxy on localhost:6666 :D [11:47:58] so traffic actually is sent through ssh to the remote computer, and it then does the connection for you [11:48:29]
