[04:24:55] don't want to sleep less, i'm skeptical about the health effects of that. polyphasic sleep is great thou, but haven't been able to learn to take naps :-/ [04:25:24] but I want to have a sleep schedule of sleeping less during the night and a couple naps during the day. [04:26:16] that way I can stay up later at night and doesn't need to sleep as long in during the day. I hope it will work better to sync with people that tends to get up early. [04:26:52] FAT64: maybe you know about this movement -> http://www.b-samfundet.se/ [04:26:54] URL Title: B-samfundet Sverige | Ett alternativ till 8 - 16 samhället. [04:30:16] also, a bit problematic with überman, the people I know that I have tried it, haven't been able to keep it for to long. you need to have a very controlled life. if you don't sleep when you need, you will fuck it upp pretty badly. but have also read som sucess stories, atleast of people following it for 6month up to a year. [04:32:38] one scientist working with marathon boat racers uses polphasic sleep to make them stay awake longer but at the same time be functional. and the best he/she came up with was a mix between one longer sleep and then naps. [04:32:57] s/longer/more/ [04:33:21] somehow überman wasn't the best, but not sure why. [04:39:29] find it so hard to actually fall asleep when I want to take nap and then wake up at the right time. if I set an alarm clock, it will be off since I can't get to sleep as quickly, and if I set it with that variable in account it usually stil ends up to long or to little, either way I usually sleep by it. not sure how to do it. maybe I need to be more tired before I try. sleeping to little and then try to put in naps until it adds upp. [04:42:25] can usually get by sleeping monophasicly 4-5 hours a day for a couple of days until I need a long sleep to somehow reset. so it would be possible to instead just introduce naps. atleast if I try to keep it that i'm not to overly tired and not to awake. somewhere in between. then it will become a habit I guess. [04:44:50] http://www.supermemo.com/articles/polyphasic.htm this text was also very educational.
