I just whatched Star Trek Nemesis (movie). I don't know if this is the latest one but it looks really good! ^.^ Okay, maybe you don't like sci-fi or don't get impressed by stereotypes easily, his featured the Dark Menacing Villans planing to destroy earth, and of course the Super Hero Good Guys sacraficing themselves to save earth, nothing new about that. HOWEVER, the Dark Menacing Villans were my types! :D Really big over-armed vessel with double shields, extra-fast engines and cloaking... and a crew of mind-reading predators that liked to be in the dark. Murrr, hehehe. This awesome fictional military technology always reminds me of actual awesome soviet (or Russian) technology, such as scores of cheap Katjushas and Kalashnikovs, their speedy battle tanks, their super menuverable SU-27s and of course the bloody awesome Kamov-50 dubbed "Werewolf". Actually on second thought the Kamov 50 really is a spaceship compared to anything anyone else can offer you. Originally Kamov produces firefighting helicopters, so they devoloped special computer-guided cannon aiming technology, so they could spray water at fires automatically. They then applied this to a coaxial-twin-rotor double-engine 2.3 ton-weapon-load tank destoryer and viola, Kamov-50 was born. According to specs you can find on the internet, the computer-guided gun is so accurate they managed to blow the tires of a moving truck with it durring testing. The heli also has an on-board information system with GPS-integrated fly-by-wire system and automated weapons targeting system (1 pilot, 1 joystick flight control and Head On Display Tracking for weapons targetting). So come take a Star Trek starship with it's computer core that lets the sci-fi characters do all these amazing fighting menuvers, try to compare it with an Apache... no go... try to compare it with a Kamov-50... hey where's the diffirence? Try a photo and say if it's not Starfleet... maybe Romulan? http://www.military.cz/russia/air/helicopters/Ka_50/images/Ka-50-2%20Erdogan.jpg (this is actually the Kamov 50 v2.00 but it's luffly, reminds me of the Radix fighter) Hehe, that's it for now. I'm off to work. ^.^
