The very well known simplest programming language is BASIC. I actualy

heard that proffesional programers teach it to their children at a

fairly early age (5).



As I know it Visual Basic supports lot's of database stuff (and not to

mention what all it supports... even DHTML [MS HTML] is in it! ;) and it

also has the other things you need, so I think it is very much

appropriate. Allas as I know it, it isn't exactly cheap, so unless the

software stores at your place are nicer than the ones at mine, your only

solution is to ask somebody that has it to lend the installation CD (you

know what I'm talking about ;).
