Which brings up the point that we could devolop a kind of lesser e-mail

service, that would keep the mail localy until the recipent would enter

the cluster, when it would be sent automaticaly. This kind of service

would be no diffirent to any other mail service, to anyone that keeps

his computer on for a longer period of time.

As a little principle update, since we're all so bussy with practical

coding, etc: A day or two ago I was (with a rather nice smile on my

face) whatching a program on Discovery, talking about how British

telecom decided to integrate their technology with the one of ants. The

main reason for the smile was that I was practicaly looking at a recoded

version of an ant simulation program I put online a cupple years ago. =]

Anyway, the thing is that they might have stolen the principle of my

program, but then I too can steal their principle, or actualy: My own!

=] Fact is that we're currently devoloping software that works on a kind

of collective inteligence, which is exactly what ants have. As I remeber

coding the simulation algorithm, I remeber that one of the main keys to

getting some work done collectively is to make the unit do the first

half of a specific job and then code in the very same unit to be able to

take the second half of the job from there, but not this time! (In the

simulation, this caused the ants to split to the ones working on getting

the food to the base and the ones placing the food in the right places

within the base.) The main trick of this procedure is not only to make

individuals be able to specialize, but also the fact that it slowly

becomes obvious to every human that the individuals in this organization

are getting some work done the right way, without any external orders or

broadcasts at all!

What I'm saying is that implenting this organization pattern within an

ICI Cluster could finnaly give us that AI we were looking for all this

time. It would require some thinking as to how this would be implented

in an ICI cluster, but I think I got it right when I say that one

computer should represent one individual.

See my next reply for more details and the explanation how this comes

togather with the immediate now.

C'ya!
