LOL. Thanx. =] You and Robert both have the reaction of the same power.

=P Somewhat unexpected, I guess I live with humans too much. =P

Illegal copy? What do you think *I* have a legal copy?! =P The legal

copy of VB6 profesional costs $1200 here!!

I have fur! Right now! LOL. ;]

Seriously, I've just recently grown little white hairs all over my body.

This makes it 3 types of fur altogather + normal human special-places

hair and normal human on-head hair.

...Now I know where the grey wolf gets to be gray from. =P

Malamutes like pulling a sled, that's their nature. It doesn't have to

have anything to do with humans. You could as well be pulling a large

computer server on that sled. ;P

You know, when you notice you're opposing yourself, it means you ARE;

that points out a way to avoid that opposing. Only humans are the ones

constantly at war with themselves.

I like pulling things around too for a reason; it makes me feel happy.

But I guess so does everything else that goes in favour of a packmate.

That's just how packs work.

Your dig? You like bog digs too? ;P

I think that as long as you can signal to your dog, he won't notice that

you don't look like one, that's the thing about dogs, they don't rely on

visual checking too much.

Ok then. It should be a nice place for you, there are a cupple of very

good bicycling roads around straght trough the jungle.

You know the fastest Internet network on the planet? The European

"Gigabit"? It's a 10GB/sec core network and Slovenia was close enough to

it to recieve a 2.5GB/sec link into that core. The EU academic guys have

come around to install the new Gigabit technology servers into our

Internet infrastructure, it was a bit of problems at start, but it works

great now.

Me and Robert are now working on setting up an ICI connection over the

Internet, so I could check the delay times -- they've ought to be short

on this network!!. ;]

The GUI itself.

No problem, just ask what what means and I'll explain. I write in the

lingo for a reason, you know.

> Basically, do you

The VB Form things. You'll maybe need to draw something up eventualy in

PSP, to make the GUI look better, but that can wait.

No problem, pal, really. I expected this kind of lack of understanding,

it's a common thing amongst programers. In this discussion we'll work

out the problems, so ask ask ask, until you feel perfectly comfortable

and think what you have to do is too simple to be true.

Of course my friend, but I have to tell you you understand me far better

than any other programmer and I must say that's proffesional programmers

I'm talking about. Don't feel stupid, I'm trying to teach you! That is

also why you have never done it before: because I'm going to teach you

how to do it now. =P

Now that you've asked your first set of questions, I can explain. Again,

don't feel stupid, what I'm telling you about is technology I've been

devoloping over years, I don't expect you to reinvent it on the run in

the next 3 seconds, I've worked too hard on it. ;P Allow me to share

this wisdom with you:

The programs will 'communicate' by sending eachother commands. That is

the key to cooperation and a true cyberspace presence. ICI itself has a

cupple long lists of protocol on how to howl in within programs. Some of

these lists are nicely compacted in the Modules I'm telling you about

all along.

What you do, basicaly, with any windows program, is make GUI which sends

commands to the underlying code that does something smart. By

introducing ICI, we enable a loop back from GUI to GUI and from

underlying code to underlying code. What I work on is the second case,

from underlying code to underlying code, which I heard you are not as

good in, which is just great, because you don't need to worry about it

now anyway. You will make it GUI to GUI command sending.

That is theory, now what you MAKE. =P You draw up a Form (in VB), that

has a cupple small pictures in it ("Picture" or "Image" objects), then

add a textbox and 4 buttons. You dubble-click the pictures to bring up

the "Click" event SUBprogram and tell each to fill their name or

whatever ID into the previously mentioned textbox. Now take the 4

buttons and give each an arrow, each pointing in it's direction (up,

down, left, right) and dubble-click them to bring up the "Click" event

SUBprogram. Put a "SELECT CASE" into that subprogram, that will check

what picture placed it's name or ID into the previously mentioned

textbox, then make the code do "[picture].Top = [picture].Top +

[picture].Height" or "[picture].Left = [picture].Left + [picture].Width"

or the versions of the same with the "-" in place of the "+", giving

each button it's set of such commands, the same kind but for each

picture. You might want to test the program yourself, if so I guess I

should tell you that if you click a picture during runtime, you should

be able to move it around using the 4 buttons.

I expect you make this program, using VB 5 or 6, doesn't matter and send

me the source code so I can see how you're doing.

Later you will see that, much like the pictures and buttons have

properties (the .Top and .Left are two), the ICI interface modules have

simmilar commands, which store certian information or force it to be

sent around. Depending on you, I will either teach you how to use ICI

independendly first and then let you link that to the GUI or slowly

progress from the GUI to the ICI. Don't expect it to ever get too hard

for you, I will be patient, we can progress very slowly and work better

on the areas that cause any problems (the vocabulary being the first one

;) and I promise it will be fun for you all along. ;]

You keep suprizing me with your brainpower.

And: Don't feel bad, it's ok. =]

You can't imagine what joy it is for me to provide it. =P

LOL. =S

Ok.

More later. I'm in a hurry again now. Have a nice time!
