Well I've been away for a week as I told you. Spending a week in the

woods is really nice.

There were two new kittens left there, nice gray ones. Too young to be

left there alone, it's cold up there and not quite enough food around

that these little furballs could catch. We left them a huge piece of

ham, and the kittens didn't quite know what to make of it, so I took my

heavily protective positure and one of the kittens decided it would be a

good idea to act like as if it was my cub -- it was the kitten I have

protected from the neighbour's kids previously (well you know what HUMAN

kids to with kittens! =[ ). I took the kitten in my arms, made sure it

felt nice and warm, held it up close to me and looked into it's eyes for

a few moments. Suddenly the kitten's behavious changed dramaticaly, it

leaped onto the floor, took the whole chunk of ham in it's mouth and

carried it away to someplace where it could eat it in peace, then from

time to time, it would check back if I'm still looking over it.

It was said that the other generation, over here in the city is behaving

a bit oddly as well, namely guarding and cariying around apples in it's

mouth and beating the neighbour's dog. It is the other kitty I know very

well. Werewolf kittens, hehe... =P

Then there is the fish -- in the mountain forrest place. It has lived up

to 7 years now, which makes it a really wise ol' fish, considering the

fact that I though goldfish live no more than 2 years. At start there

were three, as there were my cousin and something you could consider as

my girlfriend (hey, it was bloody 7 years, nearly half a lifetime away),

each chose his own fish. The one I chose is the only one still alive.

Very alive one might add. Where it is located is a neat water system,

which is practicaly a syphone and reservior combination which is

intended for handling the overflow water from the reserviour (well we

have 2 springs to provide the water, then there is a major 200 liter

reserviour and the overflow has to go somewhere) and allowing air to

flow freely in and out of the reserviour (if the thing is getting empty

faster than it is getting filled, it needs air to take in for the rest

of the space) while not sucking it up directly from the sewer system

which is also attached to that open reserviour that happens to be a fish

pool. Due to the unsteadiness of the weather there, the fish pool will

occasionaly get very little water and occasionaly so much that it blows

stright into the pool, flushing away any algee that might have survived

in it. It is this powerfull flush that I was getting at all along. =]

Well I have noticed that the fish could easly get swept away by the

sheere power of the stream, and yet the fish appeared to be consantly in

the most powerfull of the stream (gone to get some fresh water I guess

;). Crazy little fish, I thought to myself. Of course the fun doesn't

end here, the fish too is fond of diggining it's head deep into what has

accumulated on the bottom of the reserviour, looking for food, which

looks 'oribly funny altogather, trust me. ;] Then there are occasions

when the fish 'digs' it's head into the air, which basicaly looks like

the fish leaping out of the water in sheer happines of seeing you again.

And then there are the kind of birds up there than will start answering

to my Casio whatch beeping. And then there are the fruit trees that have

so much fruit on them, that we found ourselves having a hard time

shoveling it way to have somewhere to walk on. And then there are the

ants that come up your fur and uninstall any skin diseases one might

have, manualy. And then there are the woods, where you are always

protected from the worst of the rain and the sun, the hot and the cold,

the dry and the humid. And then there are the skies where the ground is

so close to them that you can practlcaly see clouds making their was up

and down the valley right in front of your eyes, sometimes within the

reach of a hand. And then there are the hidroelectric powerplants, which

are in greater number than inhabited houses up there, all buzzing their

way rather automaticaly, controling the water intake and everything on

their own, occasionaly making a call to their owners' cellphones telling

them what's up with the river that they can't handle. Then there are the

mountain springs, which are not only breathtaking beautifull to look at

from a range, but also worth investingating in close, risking a very

painfull and most probably leathal drop from the slippery wet rocks and

decaying leaves, all set at 45 degree minimal slope angle (basicaly, I

wouldn't go there anyway, but I was told to go clean up one of the

springs that wasn't providing as much water as it should into the water

system).

It's generaly a very happy place.

I think there are still quite some things I haven't told you about. I of

course remembered right when it was too late, to take a camera with me

so I could share some of the wonders there with you. Next time then.

I could run like the wind just to be with you.

C'ya!
